Available in 1-Channel, 2-Channel, and 5-Channel configurations, the Affinity Dimmer Controller supports a wide range of residential and commercial installations. Electric heaters benefit from true variable dimming, allowing precise adjustment of heat output through the Bromic Smart-Heat™ App. Control is handled via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with timers, schedules, and zone grouping built directly into the app. For large commercial projects, the 5-Channel model includes built-in Ethernet and BMS (0–10V) integration, while 1- and 2-Channel models can be expanded using an optional Expansion Board.
Important: The Affinity Smart-Heat™ Dimmer Controller is designed for electric heaters only. Gas patio heaters are not compatible with dimming controls and require an On/Off controller instead.

Which Bromic heaters support dimming with the Affinity Dimmer Controller?
The Affinity Dimmer is compatible with Bromic's electric heater range — including the Platinum, Tungsten, Cobalt, and Eclipse electric series. It is not compatible with gas heaters. If you're unsure whether your heater supports dimming, check the product page or contact us before purchasing.
How much can I reduce output with the Dimmer — is it fully variable or stepped?
The Affinity Dimmer provides smooth, fully variable output control from 0–100%. This means you can dial in exactly the level of warmth you need for the conditions, rather than choosing between high and off. This also reduces energy consumption during mild weather, making it the most cost-efficient control option for electric heaters.
Can I control multiple heaters independently with one Dimmer Controller, or do they all adjust together?
In a standard setup, heaters connected to one controller zone adjust together. For independent control of multiple heaters or zones, additional controllers or an Expansion Board are required. This is a common setup in larger venues where different seating areas need different heat levels.
