How to Determine the Correct Pole Length

1. Measure the distance from the finished floor to the ceiling.

2. Use the formula below to calculate the final heater height.

3. Select the pole length that places the heater within the recommended mounting range.

Overall ceiling height – 16.6 inches – selected pole length = final heater height

General Guidelines

• Choose a pole length that positions the heater as close to 9 feet above the floor as possible.

• If your result falls between two pole lengths, select the option that places the heater closer to the center of the 8–10 ft range.

• For large or open spaces, slightly lower mounting heights can improve perceived warmth.
